The Swedes tapped the L-35 for local production by Husqvarna, dubbed the M40 or Automatpistol M/1940 in Swedish service. A design of Finnish gun maverick Aimo Lahti, the L-35 was chambered in 9mm Luger and, while it looks a lot like a P08 Luger on the outside, on the inside it is very different, using a locked breech, single-action system rather than the curious toggle-action of its more famous doppelganger. With World War II underway and needing a more modern handgun to replace the dated Browning, Sweden adopted the only slightly modified L-35 pistol of Scandavanain neighbor Finland in 1940. Chambered in 9×20 Browning Long, Husky kept the pistol in production until 1942, even exporting the gun for military sales to Latin America and for the consumer market. In 1917, HVA began making the John Browning-designed FN Model 1903 under license for the Swedish military as the M/07 pistol. 22 Caliber 95 blue, excellent+ bore, good stock, 23.5'' barrel, Husqvarna 1622 bolt action. On the side of the barrel just at the front of where the chamber is it has a king hat symbol with what looks like. On the top of the barrel it has 'Husqvarna VAPENFABRIKS AB 7MM Rem Magnum'. that uses an improved Mauser-style action. theFeck said: I have a Husqvarna 7mm Rem Mag Bolt action rifle I purchased from a guy in 1966. but I'm not sure I'm as excited to get another project gun from them after this thread. This Husqvarna H-5000 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm Rem Mag. I like to kill time looking at their used Mausers. The 1640 I believe is a commerical model and doesn't resemble either 640 action. From reading the descriptions on the Model 640, they came in 98 actions and small ring size. the more grateful I am that my one and only purchase came as described. Always wanted an 8x57 and found a site on net, Simpson's LTD, that has the 1640 & a model 640 in 8x57. They are Ok, it's not a 46 but a 146 in 9.3x57. I always thought that would be a heck of a pig rifle. That third time was the last time I did business with them. Rifles and cartridges of 9.3mm have never been greatly appreciated by the majority of American hunters, but they have been popular in Europe and Africa for a long time. They offered to take them back but I would be out shipping both ways.

They were not advertised as having a bulged barrel. I've had some issues with purchases at Simpson's.

Floyd was the one I always liked dealing with, always treated me right, better than the others that worked there! I don't think that sellers should charge shipping on returns that were misrepresented, but Boyds and McM have done it to me. 'Sorry to hear that, as he always treated me right.
